The Monster Menagerie!
Where I will show off a Monster for use in your campaigns from our DM Stash Range so you can see how they might incorporate into your story for your party!

Algaira – Hydra of the Shifting Dunes - D&D Monster
We had the chance to chat with Phil, the main handler of the Monster Menagerie, to get the inside scoop on this fearsome beast:
JC: “Phil, thank you for meeting with us. For those who don’t know, Phil is a Dwarf Path of the Giant Barbarian with a lot of experience in beast handling, right?”
Phil: “Yes! I’m the main caretaker here at the Menagerie. I even have my own companion, PJ, a pet baby cockatrice I tamed during one of our encounters. He’s been nipping at my sides ever since!”
JC: “A pet cockatrice, wow! So what can you tell us about Algaira? How dangerous is it?”
Phil: “Algaira is one spicy beast. We consider it a significant challenge for adventurers (CR7). It’s a Huge Monstrosity from Sudd Tohst, Neutral in alignment, and as the name suggests, it has multiple heads.”
JC: “Yes, definitely a hydra for a reason!”
Phil: “Those heads do more than bite. Algaira has advantage on saving throws against being Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, Frightened, or Stunned, and it can’t be surprised. On its turn, it can attack multiple times with its heads, burrow into the earth, and even control the sands to create a sandstorm.”
JC: “How does one slay such a beast?”
Phil: “You start with the heads. If you deal 25+ damage in a single turn, you slay a head, however, as with all hydra's where you cut down one, more appear. Algaira will at the start of it's turn regrow a dead head and regain 10HP, unless it’s been hit with Fire or Radiant damage—the ‘secret sauce.’”
JC: “So if the party figures that out, their fight goes much more smoothly?”
Phil: “Exactly! Plus, the full stat sheet is included when you adopt Algaira. You’ll get everything you need: AC, HP, stats, resistances, immunities, and all abilities.”
JC: “And Algaira is ready for adoption now?”
Phil: “Yes! You can grab your own from our store here, and paint it to fit your theme!”
