Split personality 2026, a 2 day AoS event held in Coburg at Gaming Arena on 30-31 May 2026

Split personality is a little different to your regular 2 dayer.

Split personality features 2 parallel events, running side by side:

- A competitive event where players will duke it out for prizes and bragging rights

- And a more narrative event where the focus is more aligned with a relaxing weekend, prizes have very little to do with your win loss draw and results have no overall effect.

Prize pools are determined by funding from each of their own pools.

This event aims to provide an environment for all players, those who go to tournaments to cut their teeth against some of the top competition in the players pool, for those who are coming along to the event because they enjoy a weekend of games with mates, for those who aren't really sure what event's are like and everyone in between.

  • The competitive ticket will form and function like a regular GT we're all used to.

5 games, tracked wins and loses/scores, placing and prizes based on performance, any tickets from this pool will contribute to this pools prize support.

  • The narrative pool will operate slightly different to what we're used to.

Win's and loses are no tracked outside of pairings. There is no final "result" or "placings". Prize support is allocated via alternative metrics, see players pack for more details.

This pool of the event is provided for players who may not be as competitively inclined but still allows for players to enjoy organised play and experience what a tournament is like with the opportunity to engage in an event that their friends may be playing at regardless of player pool.

This pool is aimed at encouraging a social and enjoyable environment with less of the stresses or anxieties that can be associated with a tournament event.

Great for newer players who are interested in seeing what a tournament is like, players who are interested in a more laid back approach to organise play, and for those players who may not be as driven by results.
